Course: From Dusk Til Dawn- Looking Beyond the Stop

This course was developed in hopes of giving the officer and first line supervisor more insight and additional

perspective when conducting proactive patrol operations as well as routine patrol functions. This three-day

course will take the officer-student from the initial response through the report to the Courtroom. The course is

designed for all levels of experience, but geared towards individuals assigned to patrol functions.

The student will be taught through classroom presentation and hands-on tactics to conduct safe motor vehicle

and pedestrian stops. The student will have the benefit of receiving instruction from experienced narcotic

officers and supervisors, who have conducted and supervised thousands of major criminal investigations. We

take great pride in our ability to translate our training, education, and experience into a practical classroom

presentation. Students will have the ability to see live footage of real incidents directly related to the information

being taught and correlating what they see to the classroom lesson.

Topics covered:

 interdiction techniques and tactics

 criminal arrest

 report writing

 Courtroom Testimony

 case law

 2c

 search and seizure

It is said that you learn from your mistakes. Who's really got time for that? We've sat in your seats and we've

done this job. We will teach you what is proven to work and what doesn't.
